Cory Shiner founded Kids of Canada over 27 years ago. Cory was introduced to camp environment through his college placement. He is a graduate of the Centennial College Recreation Leadership program and also attended both York and Brock Universities for Phys Ed. and Recreation. Cory has coached local youth minor hockey for over 25 years! Cory started RAC because he personally and professionally felt the devastation of children when camps were cancelled this summer. His sole mission is to keep staff employed and campers active, while having the best summer EVER! Cory is passionate about enriching kids lives through camp, outdoor and sport experiences. He and his wife Narah have 3 wonderful boys.

Josh has been with Kids of Canada for 15 years. He was a camper from the age of 6 through 13, and loved camp so much that he returned as a counsellor for 8 years. Now, Josh is returning to assist with RENT-A-COUNSELLOR as a head staff member. Outside of camp, Josh owns and operates an organized sports league company called Sports Leagues Canada. He is looking forward to working with RENT-A-COUNSELLOR to help children and families make the most out of their summers.

Noah has been with Kids of Canada for 14 years. He was a camper from the ages 6-13 years, became a CIT, and loved camp so much, that he returned as a staff member and continues to work at the camp today.

This year Noah is assisting Rent-A-Counsellor on our head staff team. Noah also works at a hockey and sports camp and is passionate about helping kids improve the fundamentals of their chosen sport. Outside of camp, Noah is in the Sports Management Program at Brock University. He is really looking forward to working with Rent-A-Counsellor to help children and families make their summer the best one yet!

Elizabeth is a Toronto-based teacher working for the Toronto Catholic District School Board during the school year. During the summer months, Elizabeth helps run Kids of Canada Summer Camps, and now is on the RAC Team! Elizabeth is excited to help bring the summer camp experience to your backyard. Elizabeth started her first camp job 10 years ago and since then has had the privilege of Directing at Kids of Canada and running the CIT training programs!
